What the feature does
AI Designer lets a user describe a change to the current graphics page. Serenity Studio sends the prompt and relevant page context to Gemini and converts the response into a proposed set of design operations. The canvas remains unchanged until the proposal is reviewed and applied.
Why permissions are requested
- Gemini API access: allows Serenity Studio to submit the user’s AI Designer request to Google’s Generative Language API.
- Google Cloud project access: allows Google to associate API use and quota with the configured Google Cloud project.
- Basic identity: displays which Google Account is connected.
What Serenity Studio does not do
- It does not read Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or browser history.
- It does not apply AI proposals without presenting them to the editor workflow.
- It does not intentionally log access tokens, refresh tokens, complete prompts, or raw page payloads.
- It does not sell Google user data.
Disconnecting Google
Use the disconnect control in AI Designer to remove locally stored authorization. You can also revoke Serenity Studio from the third-party access section of your Google Account. Revocation prevents new Gemini requests until you connect again.
